Opening Hours

Our opening hours vary depending on the time of year, the normal shop opening hours are listed below.

The Post Office opens 1/2 hour after the shop and closes 1/2 hour before the shop. Please note our Post Office is OPEN on Sundays and on bank holidays.

Is it possible to have a parcel sent to your post office for collection?

    Best regards,

Yes it is, you can use the Royal Mail ‘Local Collect‘ service.

You can also have your mail held at a local Royal Mail office

We are also happy to accept mail items addressed to you at our shop but you must get the sender to CLEARLY address the package as ‘Local Collect’ and with your name on the package. We will expect you to produce ID in that name to collect the parcel. We do this as a goodwill gesture and it is not a Post Office service; we are not responsible for any losses that may occur if the parcel is lost or damaged.

Some of the family are travelling to NQ this morning, from Cardiff. I have just checked the weather for them on your web-cam. I am actually from Kent. Looks like a nice day. Wonder if you could get persons from around the world checking in here …… lets see.

    Thanks for the web cam

Well done for standing up to the council and helping the elderly. Good for you. We visa New Quay every year and shop in your store daily. We will keep supporting you and the other local businesses when we visit again this year.

Hi amark, the camera is disabled whilst we are in lockdown. Too many non locals were using to to see if it was a good day to travel to New Quay. Its never a good day to travel to New Quay in lockdown. We will restore it when its safe to travel.
