One at the Back?

Please help use reduce our food wastage – Does it HAVE to be the one at the back?

Most of our food wastage is from out of date products. We minimise this by controlling our ordering and by rotating stock so the new stuff goes at the back and the oldest at the front.
We are often frustrated in this by customers taking products from the back of the row instead of the front. This leaves the products at the front unsold and having to be thrown away. This happens in particular with bread and milk.

If the product at the front does not have a long enough shelf life for your immediate needs, then please do take one from further back. If not, then please take the one at the front – it will still be fresh and you will be helping us and the environment.
